Terrapin Station Winery opens new Tasting Room

Elkton, MD. June 2010 – Terrapin Station Winery announces the opening of its new Tasting Room and invites the press and public to a Ribbon Cutting Celebration Friday, June 25 at 1:00 pm. The Winery is located in Elkton, MD at the corner of Ricketts Mill Road and Route 213.TSW Ribbon Cutting Announcement

The Terrapin Station Tasting Room will be open through summer and fall, with tasting hours from 12-6 pm Thursday – Saturday and 1-5 pm on Sundays. Visitors may also tour the vineyard and winery. For information/directions, visit the website 

Owners Morris and Janet Zwick began the winery in 2003 and started selling wines in 2008. Opening the Tasting Room represents the next step in the winery’s evolution. The Zwicks’ long-range plans are to build an extensive Wine Tasting and Entertainment facility on the property. The current temporary Tasting Room provides a relaxed environment for indoor/outdoor tasting overlooking the fields.
