Sangiovese

2010 Sangiovese

Our Sangiovese is a lighter-bodied red wine, made to honor out Italian wine heritage. Crisp acidity and sharp berry flavors make this an excellent wine to serve with traditional Italian, tomato-based foods, such as pasta sauces and pizza.

This is our first, and possibly last, vintage of Sangiovese. 2010 was an excellent growing season for the late-ripening Sangiovese grapes, grown at our Cecil County vineyard. The resulting reserve wine offers a distinct, pleasing classic wine with berry fruit complemented by a solid earthy structure.
